Thursday marked exactly one month since Colorado City teen Hailey Dunn disappeared. As the weeks drag on, Hailey's mom has been consumed with trying to bring her daughter back home. It's not only been a drain emotionally, but financially. A missing children's organization has stepped in to help her pay the bills while she goes through this tough time.

Fliers have been passed out, search teams have come and gone and many vigils have been held to pray for Hailey Dunn's safe return, and one month later still no word on where she could be.

The case brought national attention to Colorado City but after four weeks of no luck in finding her, the buzz around town is starting to die down. With the streets no longer filled with reporters and volunteers, everything is starting to return to normal. Except for the Dunn family.

"I want my daughter here," Hailey's Mother, Billie Dunn, said.

Billie Dunn says that not a moment goes by where she doesn't think of her daughter.

"I haven't seen her in a month. I have never gone this long without seeing her. I don't know what she is going through," Dunn said.

Even some agencies have pulled back personnel from this case. But Colorado City Police say they are still focused on Hailey and want to bring extra help to find her.

"Right now, we are looking at hiring at least one or maybe two patrol officers as well as investigators," Colorado City Manager, Pete Kempfer, said.

The search continues as authorities scoured Scurry and Mitchell County looking for clues.

"We are going to keep working the case if it takes a year longer or next week. We'll keep putting resources until it's resolved," Kempfer said.

As for Billie Dunn's other child, he's not living with her right now. Billie told NewsWest 9, Child Protective Services did come in to investigate but the boy was voluntarily put in another family member's home.

"People who drive by screaming things, you know, where your daughter is at. He doesn't need that. His life is bad enough," Dunn said.

This week, Billie Dunn received a grant from the Somer Thompson Foundation to help pay for her bills.

Clint Dunn, Hailey's Dad, is on his way to El Paso. He has made Spanish fliers and wants to pass them out, so that everyone can help find his daughter. But the hope in the community is still their local volunteer search teams are still going out.

"I don't know what really else I can do other than keep her face out there and passing out fliers. I don't know what to do, there's gotta be something we are not doing," Clint said.

No matter how long it will take to bring Hailey back home, people in Colorado City are not giving up hope.
