Can one truly disregard the communal impact of personal choices? Jonathan in AZ wonders if morality, when subjective, is merely opinion. Hosts define morality as actions promoting well-being, distinguishing it from absolute morality which they reject. While caring for well-being isn't objectively mandatory (like health), they assert that objective assessments of actions' consequences on well-being are possible. Interconnectedness means individual well-being often relies on collective well-being.

The Atheist Community of Austin is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. The Atheist Community of Austin is dedicated to promoting atheism, critical thinking, secular humanism, and the separation of religion and government.

We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.
