JUDY GARLAND Live At Sydney Stadium May 1964 with the Mort Lindsey Orchestra

Here's Judy Garland as recorded at the stadium in Sydney Australia in May of 1964. An odd and unique recording to say the least. The man who recorded it was a member of the old Yahoo version of TJGE and shared his story with us, unfortunately I don't remember his name and apologize for that. But if I remember the story correctly he "borrowed" an antique dictaphone machine from his father's company and recorded the concert on it, utilizing several glass cylinders. And for that we shall forever be grateful to him, because he captured Judy in wonderful voice and giving an entertaining show. However the original sound, being a dictaphone cylinder and all that, was pretty tinny, in an off in a tunnel kind of way, so I've done what I can to combat the tinniness with a reworking of the sound, which, just to be honest, isn't saying much, but there is some improvement, hopefully you guys will find it listenable. Judy is accompanied here by the Mort Lindsey Orchestra.
