Here is a not-too-long tutorial about Electromagnetic Interference and ways to get rid of them.
Shielding for electromagnetic interference or EMI, is usually a hot topic when building audio and radio frequency equipment. Also, with the increase of clock speeds for digital devices in the order of the gigahertz, EMI shielding, or EMS for short, has become a hot issue also in the digital world. In fact, digital devices can generate EMI that needs to be shielded to prevent it from invading our leaving space.
