DIY Heavy Duty Drop-Bottom Bins for the Workshop! | Shop Made Tools

Описание к видео DIY Heavy Duty Drop-Bottom Bins for the Workshop! | Shop Made Tools

We’re building our very own heavy-duty drop-bottom bins for the workshop! In classic Kurtis fashion there’s no fancy blueprints, just full-on workshop ingenuity and over the top fabrication, so these bins are definitely going to handle anything we throw at them or in them! We'll take you through the entire process, from weld tacking the sheets together to machining the parts for the locking mechanism. And of course, no project is complete without some drilling, pressing and a seriously good welding session! Once they're all welded up, we'll give them a fresh coat paint but the real test comes when we load one of these bad boys up with 300kg of metal chips and... well, you'll just have to watch the video to see how it holds up! So, ditch the dustpan and get ready to build some seriously awesome bins with this DIY workshop project!

In this video we are using:
- WIA 500i Weldmatic Welder
- Hafco TM-1740G Centre lathe
- MetalMaster HPM-150T Hydralic Press
- RadiusMaster RM-48 Pedestal belt grinder
