So I want to share some intermediate level option trades. The Wheel of Fortune and strangles continue to be my main option strategies. However there are times when volatility dries up and takes down the associated option premium.

A poor man’s covered call or other diagonal spreads can be a useful tool in a lower volatility environment. For those with intermediate or larger accounts, you can consider putting on a dragon diagonal spread or the rich man’s covered call.

This type of trade is larger and obviously carries more risk. They may not be suitable for everyone. They are more expensive than regular diagonal spreads but cheaper than an outright covered call. In this video I go over three trade ideas using a rich man’s covered call or dragon diagonal spreads.
