Abo - Tao (Music Video)

Abo is about recalling the pain of unsafe abortion procedures that women have to undergo when access to safe and legal abortion is not present, and the resilience it takes to recover from the experience with emphasis on the strength and pressure to continue a 'normal' life amidst trauma, secrecy, and health risks. It is one of the 13 tracks in Pasya Music Album, written, performed, arranged, and produced by Tao. The song is co-arranged and mixed by Calix.

Abo's music video is animated by Marian Hukom (marianieart), and produced by Filipino Freethinkers with support from Abortion Conversation Projects.

Pasya Music Album is part of the decriminalization of abortion campaign in the Philippines that is made possible by WGNRR in collaboration with Filipino Freethinkers and Philippine Safe Abortion Advocacy Network, and with support from Safe Abortion Action Fund and Abortion Conversation Projects.
