Pradeep shares how to turned his turmoils into a success story by integrating science into agriculture. He shares his story where the sand of Thar, yields pomegranates, dates, Cumin and figs; that are now even exported. I am Dr. Pradeep Pagaria, working as an associate director and deputy registrar at the agriculture university in Jodhpur. I got my PhD in 2004; subsequently, I joined KVK Barmer as a scientist; and in 2017, I was selected as a senior scientist and head of KVK. I even wrote over 60 research papers and ten books. I have received numerous national and international awards and have also travelled to China, France, Nepal and Mexico to promote innovative technologies, particularly in arid region.
