Robert Dover: Perfecting Connection in the Canter

Finding that magical balance point in the canter is one of the most amazing feelings you can have in dressage. When suddenly you stop working so hard and actually start riding is almost like a moment of passage on the journey to mastering your skill set as a dressage rider.

In this video, Olympian Robert Dover teaches us where and how to fine tune that balance point by balancing your horse between the forward movement and the half halt.
