Soon-to-be Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has taken over ownership of a villa previously called home by a club legend. That’s according to Le Parisien, who have on Monday provided an insight into the Paris Saint-Germain frontman’s latest movements. The house Mbappé bought from Gareth Bale in Madrid has 8 bedrooms, all of them with en suite bathroom, heated indoor pool, sauna, hot and cold water areas and gym. It also has a golf course. Bale asked for €13m but Kylian ended up paying €11m.
It is of course common knowledge across all of Europe that Mbappé is all set to seal his long-awaited move to Real Madrid over the coming weeks.After allowing his contract terms with Ligue 1 champions PSG to expire, the 25-year-old has since been locked in talks with the Blancos brass, over the terms of a deal beginning next season.With an accord between the parties understood to be all but in place, Mbappé, for his part, had long kicked into gear his search for a new house, in Spain’s capital.And, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, the prolific attacker appears to have found precisely that.The captain of the France team recently acquired a villa in an upscale and most secure area of Madrid.’ Despite previous claims to the contrary, the property is not in the area of la Moraleja, or owned by ex-Real star Sergio Ramos. Instead, it is situated in the ‘hyper-secure district of La Finca’, a region which also houses a number of other members of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
Mbappé took over ownership of his new home several weeks ago, in a multi-million euro deal with none other than Blancos icon Gareth Bale.
