Jellyfin Docker Compose: Supercharged with HW Transcoding

Jellyfin is an open-source and free alternative to Plex and Emby. With modest hardware, such as a Mini PC, and Hardware transcoding one can build an awesome media server on a budget.

In this video I will show you how to install Jellyfin using Docker and Docker Compose.

I will also show you how to enable Hardware Transcoding using Intel QuickSync on Iris Xe graphics card on a Mini PC and compare the performance with and without hardware-based transcoding.
