The Haskins Family Band for Connie's Country Gospel Corner

Connie's Country Gospel Corner would like to welcome a gal and her three sons to the program. Amber Haskins, from Arkansas, is one special little lady who has reached out and opened her heart and her home to bring not only music, but her special gift of love and laughter! Her group is called The Haskins Family Band, and when you listen to her and her sons perform here you will understand just what I mean. Being brought up in a ministers home she understands the importance of using her talents and those of her children to spread the Good News of the Gospel of Christ.

The band consists of Amber Haskins (Mom), Charlie Haskins (10), Keygan Haskins (8), and David Haskins (5), and their music has a Gospel bluegrass/folk feel to it.

They have just begun to get out and share their talents in churches and wherever the doors open for them, but if you go to their websites, you will see that it incorporates many other things and always with a comical view of life and all they do.

They have a fourth son, Byron who is 'adopted' into their household who has enhanced not only their own lives, but all their friends and family. Byron is a special needs son that has Downe's Syndrome! What an amazing young man with an amazing outlook on life in spite of his disabilities. It's absolutely amazing, if you go to their 'vlog' page on YouTube and watch how they interact and encourage, uplift in spite of circumstances, and that's what life is all about... that's why I love to do Connie's Country Gospel Corner; It allows me to bring people from all facets of the industry, from the well known artists to those who are rarely seen but have something special to bring to you.

I envision these three young boys in only a few more years using their instruments and talents and love for the music to the stage. I believe we have something to look forward to in the Haskins Family Band!!
