Doc applies the spring lawn fertilizer which is part of the jump start program.  The round of fertilizer is not really for the grass lawn, it's for the soil  Over the winter months your lawn soil will become void of nutrition and health, which your Bermuda grass will need in a few weeks.  We don't want to push the lawn with high nitrogen so we use PGF Balance at the same time we put down our preemergent.
