Alimos is a sandy beaches with a well-developed infrastructure, located in the suburbs of Athens. The beach is popular with families with children, young people and fans of passive recreation.
The surface of Alimos is covered with soft golden sand and fine pebbles. It is calm and sunny weather with a small amount of weak waves. The beaches have a cafes, bars, sun loungers, showers, toilets and rubbish bins.

The beach is 21 km south of Athens. It can be reached by metro, bus, personal transport or taxi.
