Shadowrun Sixth World: Basics and Character Creation

Shadowrun Sixth World is the unusually (and perhaps misleadingly) titled 6th Edition of Shadowrun. For any of you unaware of what Shadowrun is, it's the Cyberpunk/Fantasy fusion roleplaying game that's forever lived in the shadow (HA!) of Dungeon and Dragons.

This edition does cut out some of the things that slowed down 5th edition, such as those annoying limits, and the numerous different options you had for weaponry and gear. Though the counterpoint is that it adds a lot more opportunities to gain and use edge.

Two steps forward, one step back, am I right?

I'll admit I'm not fond of this edition, but, this might be the sort of thing somebody else was hoping Shadowrun would be. (And honestly, I hope it is.)
