The B2 has great versatility for its size, great for bass as well as 6-string. It's not quite as vicious as its brother, the G2, but I think it would give most bass players everything they need. And if you have a drive pedal that you already use (distoriton, OD, fuzz etc) you can route it through the B2 to give you everything else you need in an effects kit.
