About Beat the Makers:
This event has been the first attempt of the concept to happen in Bristol, organised by the Breaking and Beatmakers Communities. It consisted on a double knock-out system in which the beatmakers not playing voted for the dancers during solo battles, and the dancers not battling scored the beatmakers who were playing during the battle. This were All Style Battles. The intention of the jam was to celebrate the growth and support of the South West scene in the UK.
