Well, it’s been a while since I last posted. This video is a little different from my usual hiking and wild camping adventures, but I wanted to share the story behind our move to Cumbria four years ago, and provide some context around what has been yet another transition period.
It's been a privilege to have everything the Lake District offers right at our doorstep, from hiking to mountain biking, wild camping and wild swimming. This landscape has shaped my thoughts, my work, my creativity and continues to do so.
Join me on today’s short but steep ramble, as I look back on our move here. I hope you enjoy the ‘storytime’ vibe. It was fun for me to piece this together with some older clips from some of my favourite wild camping trips and hiking routes in the Lake District. Despite the slow pace of my uploads, I feel as if I’m stepping more and more into each video, weaving together my personal experience of creating a wild and magical life here in Cumbria.
And don’t worry - there are plenty more ahead! Maybe I’ll even manage to post regularly, who knows? Stay tuned for more outdoor adventures, nature, history and stories…
