How to create and edit property groups in HubSpot

In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how to create and edit property groups in HubSpot.

Property groups in HubSpot can be useful for identifying related properties within an object. There are default property groups, but you can also create custom groups.

These groups are used only within the property settings. To group properties on a record, use record sidebars.

Steps to follow:

Step 1. If you want to create a new group or edit an existing one, follow these steps.

Step 2. Log in to your HubSpot account and click the settings icon in the main navigation bar.

Step 3. In the left sidebar menu, select Properties.

Step 4. From the Select an Object dropdown menu, choose the object properties for the object whose groups you want to edit.

Step 5. Click the Groups tab.

Step 6. To create a new group, click the Create Group button in the upper right corner and enter the name of the group in the dialog box. Then, click Save.

Step 7. To edit an existing group, hover over the group and click Edit.

Step 8. Enter the new group name in the dialog box and click Save.

Step 9. If you want to view the properties in a group, hover over the group and click View Properties.

Step 10. If you want to delete a group, hover over the group and click Delete. Then, confirm your decision by clicking Delete in the dialog box.
