Remington Model 34

Next up is the Remington Model 34 NRA Target in .22 rimfire. Found this beauty in a gun shop just as you see here.....with the receiver drilled and tapped for a scope with the Lyman 55 peep sight and partridge front sight missing, sling swivels but no sling, and chrome bolt and trigger. It was so cheap I couldn't say no and thankfully so because it is accurate as can be and so fun and pleasant to shoot. Didn't even need to sight in the scope.....it was perfect.

C. C. Loomis was the designer here and I encourage you to research his design here and read all the patents......VERY interesting and a unique action and ammo feeding design not used anywhere else. It is a highly respected design that ACTUALLY WORKS AS INTENDED.
