No muse no art | Rah Crawford | TEDxBushwick

Описание к видео No muse no art | Rah Crawford | TEDxBushwick

Rah Crawford asks—how can we protect our inspiration? How can we honor the muse? Rah has been seeking these answers by finding his own voice through his creative expression. His road of self discovery resulted in drafting a manifesto for a new approach to art called NPIC-Art.

Originally from Philadelphia, Rah has been living in Bushwick for the past 5 years—and has served as the publisher of Wickbush for the past two. Wickbush is a print and digital media hybrid that celebrates local creativity within a diverse community. The publication developed a local map for businesses in Bushwick, as well as a rating system to measure a neighborhood’s creative activity by scoring it’s F.A.C.E value (Food, Arts, Culture and Entertainment).

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
