How to Raise PH and KH in your Aquarium easily

Описание к видео How to Raise PH and KH in your Aquarium easily

One of the problems with putting a bunch of fish in a tiny or slightly tiny glass/acrylic box, is that maintaining water parameters can be all over the place sometimes. This video will go over a product review for SeaChem Alkaline Buffer, Brightwell Aquatics Delta Florin KH+, and Fritz Aquatics Rift Lake Cichlid Buffer. These products say they raise both KH and PH when added to the aquarium following the instructions.

It's not that you should chase your PH, this is not what to do. Chasing your PH can and will make you crazy, adjusting PH up and down, down and up, etc. What you should do is try to keep your PH within a specific range. For most of our aquarium here at NoobAquatics we try to keep our PH in almost all of our tanks between 7.0 and 7.6, we only have 1 aquarium where the PH needs to be between 6.8 and 7.2.

We will go over these products and let you know which ones work the best if used properly. We followed the direction on the bottles and took measurement after measurement using our API Water Test Kits. After several months of testing we have concluded that out of these three available products you should stick to SeaChem and Fritz Aquatics.

When used according to the instruction and following those instructions for water changes you will start to see a very noticeable stability in both your KH and Ph within a short period. There is nothing wrong with using crushed coral, but keep in mind that this method takes longer to get your PH/KH stable. So if you need to get your PH/KH stable for the 6 or so months it would take Coral to do the same then this video is for you.
