2003 chevy silverado 1500 z71 4x4. Engine power reduced message.

I kept getting the e.p.r message if I moved the pedal to fast and if the truck got over 2,800rmp and accelerating too fast would couse it to happen too.i would just pull over a.s.a.p turn off the truck wait exactly 30 sec and it would drive again.but it seemed like it was random at first then I took it to a big parking lot and started experimenting with it and learned the rpm range to not go over and ho fast to move the pedal to keep it from happening and drove the truck for another month.lol but after looking online I found out the info to test the sensors with a multimeter.i did not record me changing it unfortunately but I can tell you it's super easy to do.cost of(tps) autozone and I asked for 10%off very nicely and got it for $80.82.

Before I got to autozone I had already pulled the throttle body off the night before and cleaned it good and drilled out the rivits holding the (tps) on tested it and found the part was bad.i used screws and bolts to put it back on this way at the parts store it 4 screws take off the old put on the new 4 screws back in and boom burn out city here we come.lol you can pick one up at Amazon for a very good price.
