Scotland – We felt so safe and celebrated here. The cities are vibrant and inclusive, and the people were amazing. Having our tour guide cry when he was taking photos of our marriage proposal was the cherry on top

Austria – Vienna’s queer scene and Pride celebrations made this country feel super open and safe. We saw SO many other queer people and couples, made us feel very comfortable.

Greece – Athens felt so warm and welcoming. Marriage equality was recently passed in 2024. We didn’t visit Mykonos ourselves but we have heard it’s super queer friendly.

Japan – No nationwide marriage equality yet, but we always felt respected, safe, and comfortable traveling here. All of our new Japanese friends were so welcoming too!

New Zealand – Our neighbours across the ditch Progressive, welcoming, and full of kind people. Definitely one of fave destinations!

This is just our experience as an LGBTQ+ couple traveling the world, everyone’s experience is different, but we hope this helps if you’re planning a trip!
