Valerie F. Wood, PhD, talks about the findings of a recent study she participated in on suspension and expulsion rates for young children with disabilities in Vermont. Wood talks through the finer points of the study, as well as unpacking how some of the findings can be generalized in terms of policy goals and real world action.

Dr. Wood is the research coordinator at the Center on Disability and Community Inclusion (CDCI) at the University of Vermont.
