Today we present our latest success story applied to diesel machinery to prevent clogging of the particulate filter. Through the solution developed by B'Smart we managed to avoid all the breakdowns caused by the clogging of mentioned filter. In this case, our client, Maquinsa, present in the province of Lleida, and with more than 300 machines, most of them diesel, asked us for a solution to avoid breakdowns due to clogging of the DPF. After the corresponding phase of investigation, configuration and engineering tests, we have developed the solution that we present here. Through this solution, and by capturing parameters from the standard CAN DATA BUS, present today in practically all machines, we can find out the values of the parameters involved in clogging the particulate filter. Being able, therefore, to launch an event automatically that goes, in a first phase, to notify our client, or his client directly, of the dangerous situation for the machine. Said communication will be made by WhatsApp, Telegram, App, mail, SMS, or any other electronic means. In a second phase, and if the dangerous situation persists, the system is capable of stopping the machine automatically. In this way, the system is capable of not only monitoring the machine and documenting everything that is happening to it, but also stopping it and avoiding a breakdown that can cost up to 3,000 Euros. Undoubtedly, this is a great advance to avoid the big headaches that the particulate filter causes to machinery rental companies today.
