Hello Bakers!

Sharing my all time favourite vanilla cupcake and buttercream recipe with you guys. Do try this with your loved ones. Rather, bake them together. For these are the times which you'll cherish the most. Stay Home Stay Safe :)

Cup Measurements

Ingredients: Vanilla Cupcakes

1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp vanilla essence ( vanilla extract)
2 large eggs
1 ½ tbsp milk

Steps:

In the bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and add butter and eggs
Beat the mixture for roughly 30 seconds to a min on medium to high speed
Give the batter a quick mix
On a slow pace, add milk and vanilla mixture
Beat it for about 30 seconds
Bake the cupcakes @ 170 ° c for 20 mins

Ingredients: Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
1/2 cup butter @ room temperature
3/4 cup + 2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla essence
2 tsp milk

Steps:

Beat the butter with an electric beater for at least 4 mins or until it turns pale white
Sift the powdered sugar in a large bowl and add it to the batter one spoon at a time in 2 stages
Mix vanilla and milk together and slowly add the mixture to the batter
Let it mix for another
Your vanilla buttercream frosting is ready
