Over the winter break, some of my friends decided to follow my lead and thought it was a good idea to drive down to the Florida Keys and spend 24 hours sitting on a bridge. The worst part of this is that we came up with the brilliant idea that if we would not bring any food and only eat what we caught. So basically, "if you don't catch, you don't eat". Long Key bridge has become somewhat of a "hot spot" in the YouTube world. I keep seeing these videos of guys going down there and loading up on yellow jacks and mutton snapper. I couldn't wait to try it out!

Would you sleep on a bridge? It was a memorable experience that I am not sure we would ever repeat. Fishing started off decent with a few mutton snapper and a mangrove snapper but as the sun went down the bite turned into a catfish, grunt and bonnet shark frenzy. Would you eat any of these? We did!!!
