The Atlas Wallet is a great pattern for using leather, because there is no turning inside out like most wallet patterns geared for fabric materials. It is beginner friendly and several variations are given in the pattern. I highly recommend this pattern.

Working with the Holographic Leather is a first for me. It is such a unique, beautiful leather that weighs 2-3oz. and comes with a protective clear cellophane coating. This is to be peeled off before sewing, which leads me to believe that anything made with this leather may have to be treated with a little TLC. And it embroiders perfectly!
