The Babicz full contact hardware tremolo is pretty unique among these two point tremolo systems. So much so that Babicz patented the design so it's unlikely you will see a similar design any time soon. I take a close look at the unit and show all of the features good or bad.

This Babicz unit I bought right here in the UK - it replaces an ABM tremolo that I bought from Thomann which did not fit the body! So that one is being returned and the UK sourced Babicz full contact hardware trem is here to stay.

This is a very well made tremolo, and the actual tolerances between the components is exemplary, showing little or no play between components. But be aware that this unit (a 2 point tremolo for Fender Stratocaster) did not just fit right on to the body. The Warmoth body IS correct and a Fender two point tremolo fitted fine. I ended up making a very small adjustment to the body (shown in the video) to allow this tremolo to work.

The Babicz full contact bridge is not a cheap unit, although it was lower cost than the ABM bridge that went back. This cost (in 2021) around £170.00 from a UK supplier and it arrived in two days from placing the order. It was sealed when it arrived the full contact hardwhere was factory fresh, in gold, as ordered. Note there is also a Babicz telecaster bridge that I will review in the future.

There were only four springs provided in the box just in case you are one of the guys that needs five springs.

Other components used in the series include: Fender Tuners, a Gilroy Guitars pick guard made from solid wood, a Fender Clapton boost circuit and its installation, Fender 69 custom shop pickups and one or two other surprises along the way.
