What are we doing? We judge people based on their circumstances and think that they did something to get in that place. Then we turn away and do nothing to help them when they're down and out. This isn't what Christ called us to do. He called us to reach out and help these people. He doesn't want us to judge and decide who deserves our help. Matthew 25:40-"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Drop any preconceived notions you may have, leave them behind, and see people for who they are: children of God.
