You loved your family, you really did, but they were quite overbearing. You were the eldest in a large pack, heir to inherit your father's Alpha status. So naturally they kept their eyes on you. You hated it.
You hated being watched every moment of every day, you hated being treated like a fragile doll.
So you convinced your father to let you leave your cabin in the woods to go to college in the human city. You got a roommate, did you work, excelled at your work. You loved your new life.
But you hated hiding part of you from your roommate.
One night, at full moon, you were struggling more than usual to control yourself. You were worried that one day it might slip out, that your roommate might realize.
You wanted to be the one to tell her. So you did.
