Hank indicates we are to think of positive and good things. The problem with many pastors today is they have come to the conclusion that Christianity is a version of New Thought metaphysics. The New Thought idea is that thoughts and words create reality. It is great to think positively but we cannot create reality by our words and thoughts. To think we can create reality with our words and thoughts is falling into magical mysticism. Joel Osteen is the most popular leader in this problematic positive confession movement.
