As the lines from Beowulf say - Fate goes ever as she shall. As the last song for my upcoming album "Draumar forna tíma" I wanted to do song called "Beowulf", but of course fate goes ever as she shall and this little devil sprung out of nowhere, written itself and here it is. Destiny is all.
As those who know me personally know - I am big fan of Bernard Cornwell books ( they actually gave me back my joy of reading) and especially The Last Kingdom series. I could say Uthred (son of Uthred, sometimes Osbert) is one of my favorite literature character, and I have eagerly followed he's adventures. As last year I got the last book in series "War Lord", I already miss him and this summer decided to re-read all of the books in series. To mark it ( or more like celebrate) I decided to do this special song and dedicate it to creator of The Last Kingdom himself Mr. Bernard Cornwell. Thank You for everything

The lyrics is just the favorite saying of Uthred "Wyrd bið ful aræd", that translates as “Fate remains wholly inexorable”, or simply "Destiny is all!"
Pronunciation is taken from interview with Mr. Cornwell, so if something is done wrong just blame him :)

Vocals (alongside other important, mighty and musical things) is once again done by one and only Tiago Costa - mastermind and vocal/guitarist of band Firemage and vocalist of Eoten. Check those links below and give them some well deserved love.
