Momiji (Japanese Maple Leaf) Bead Weaving Demonstration: A Get Started Video

This video will show you how to get started on your beaded Momiji charm and is made especially for those who attended the beading demonstration at The Bead Gallery.

I am using large beads so you can better see the beads as I stitch. This is NOT a full tutorial but the pattern is symmetrical and the stitches are repeated so you should be able to complete your project by following the steps on this video.

Please note that it will be helpful if you are already familiar with basic brick stitch bead weaving stitches. Some of the increasing & decreasing style of brick stitch weaving in this video are "modified" (to my way of beading). Feel free to use the method you are most comfortable with or just follow along :)
