Live coverage of the solemn entrance of the cardinal electors into the Conclave for the election of the new Pope.

The College of Cardinals met in the Pauline Chapel to enter into Conclave and take their Solemn Oath after the singing of the Litany of the Saints and the Veni, Creator Spiritus. Once finished, the Master of Ceremonies declared: "Extra Omnes," closing the doors to the Sistine Chapel.

From the Pauline Chapel, to the chant of the Litany of the Saints, the cardinals — vested according to their respective rites — will process toward the Sistine Chapel. After the Veni Creator, they will take the solemn oath to elect the Roman Pontiff in conscience and before God.

Finally, following the traditional Extra Omnes proclaimed by the Master of Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations, the Conclave will officially begin.
