Choreography for Beginner Skaters - Learn a Holiday Skating Program!

Hello Skaters, I am so excited about this one! Today we are kicking off the Christmas/ Holiday/Festive season with some beginner choreography, to a holiday song. Every skill that I use in this program is something I have taught in a previous tutorial, and I have listed all those tutorials below, in case you would like to brush up on those skills.

I would love for you to practice this program and then post your completed version up to Instagram with the hashtag #CoachJuliaChristmas , so that we can all cheer each other on and create some beautiful holiday spirit.

I will also be putting together a compilation video of this program, to be uploaded to my youtube channel the week of Christmas. If you would like your skating performance to be included, please email your video to me, by Friday December 18th. I will edit as many of them as I can together, and then post the video to my channel. Coach Julia has been skating (first on roller and then on ice) for over 30 years. She was a competitive skater until she turned 21 when she got her first contract as a professional show skater. Julia has been a figure skating coach for 15 years, is a USFS Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field, and an ISI Gold Level certified judge. She has held positions as the Skating Director of the largest skating program in the United States, as well as Head Coach at two different skating clubs. Julia has now turned her skills towards a larger audience and is bringing her love and knowledge of skating to all of you!
