Pakistan Penal CodeSection 170

Whoever drives or rides on a public way in a manner which is rash or negligent, and which causes hurt or injury to any person or damage to any property, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three months, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both.
This offense is compoundable, which means that the complainant can withdraw the complaint and the accused can be discharged.
