How to use Slowking Competitively
Slowking is a Water/Psychic-Type Pokemon that can be a viable Trick Room Sweeper/Setter.
Unfortunately there is so much Rillaboom running around right now that it makes it hard to want to use Water-Type sweepers. I still think its best use is a Trick Room sweeper that utilizes Dynamax Weakness Policy. Slowking has great natural bulk, but its offensive stats leave a lot to be desired. Thus, Weakness Policy. Slowking has a good move pool featuring the new move Expanding Force which gives it a great move to use while not Dynamaxed. I used to use Slowking as a TR Setter with Gastrodon since Gastrodon could also get boosted with Surf since it has Storm Drain. Overall I think Slowking has some great uses, but falls short in a meta filled with good Grass/Ghost/Dark-type attackers. As always if you like this kind of content like and subscribe!
