If you got bad grades recently, then I want you to know that everything is going to be ok, and you are not alone in this journey. I understand that it is not a nice situation to be in, you had hopes that your grades wouldn't be all that bad, but it was a different story when you opened the envelope - I can relate, because I was in the same situation when I got my results. That's also why I want to share my story of getting bad grades with you.

I want you to know that not everything in life goes the way you expect it to, even though we feel that we may have worked very hard for it - that's life and it can be unfair. However, it's important to realise that failure is necessary in order for us to grow, every time we make a mistake and try to learn from it, it helps us to progress, so try not to see it as all bad.

Whether you are going to college or university and had bad grades just prior, I want you to shift your mind and start focusing on your future and your career, because even though your grades may have not been great, you can still get into your dream career. Yes, it may take a bit more work, but I believe that you are more than capable of achieving your goals.

Also, there is so much more to life than just grades, it will not have much weight in 10-15 years from now (depending on what career you are looking to get into). There are many other things that will have higher importance like work, family, and many other responsibilities. So, try to use your extra time to develop skills that will help you in your future.
