The adventure begins in Pilchard Bay, where the young Hero goes about his daily life—exploring the village, gathering supplies, and delivering a meal to his father aboard a fishing ship. A brief encounter with Maribel hints that bigger things are coming, and soon a royal summons arrives from Estard Castle. After meeting the king and exploring the capital, the Hero reunites with Kiefer at the mysterious shrine on the island’s eastern shore. Though the shrine’s secrets remain sealed, Kiefer joins the Hero, setting the stage for their first real quest.

To unlock the shrine’s power, the pair must gather three missing Yellow Tablet Fragments scattered around Estard and Pilchard Bay. Their search leads them through underground trials, simple puzzles, and a tutorial battle against the Tribulators. With help from townsfolk like Dermot and Pike, the fragments are finally assembled. Returning to the Shrine of Mysteries triggers a revelation: the ancient pedestal activates, Maribel forces her way into the party, and a long‑lost island called Ballymolloy materializes. With the first tablet complete, the true journey into the past finally begins
