Physiology of Blood Pressure Control

Описание к видео Physiology of Blood Pressure Control

This video teaches the major mechanisms controlling arterial blood pressure. These are important physiological concepts—also important in disease. Learning objectives are: (1.) know the location of the arterial baroreceptors and their operation; (2.) understand the sympathetic and parasympathetic outputs from the medullary cardiovascular centers change in response to changes in arterial pressure; (3.) the major mechanisms in sympathetic control of vessel tone; (4.) Identify the primary disturbances and compensatory responses evoked by acute changes in body position; (5.) Describe how the renin-angiotensin system contributes to blood-pressure control.
