The video above shows a group of workers attempting to lift a tree trunk weighing tons onto a truck by pulling ropes. Instead of using a crane, they used the truck's power and ropes to pull the log, which had been cut at the base, onto the truck.

The danger level here is classified as Extremely High.

Such a large tree trunk is extremely heavy. When it falls or crashes, the impact force can crush anything in its path, including the truck's metal frame or a person's body.

Loss of trajectory control: Cylindrical objects (tree trunks) can easily roll freely after colliding with the truck bed, making it impossible for people nearby to predict the direction of movement and avoid them.

Solutions and safety measures

To perform this work safely, the following principles must be followed:

Regarding equipment:

Use a self-propelled crane: For large tree trunks, it is mandatory to use a crane with a suitable load capacity to lift and place the tree in the correct position on the truck bed.

Use specialized steel cables or lifting ropes: Do not use household ropes with unknown load ratings.

Regarding operating procedures:

Establish a safety buffer zone: The work area must be cordoned off. No one (except the operator) is allowed to stand within the falling radius of the object.

Securing the object: Before moving, the tree trunk must be securely fastened to the load-bearing points of the lifting machine.

Workers must wear safety helmets, safety shoes, and reflective vests to increase visibility.

Advice: Absolutely do not attempt heavy lifting using "tricks" or relying on human strength as shown in the clip. The cost of hiring a crane is always much cheaper than the cost of a workplace accident.
