Three years after I embarked on this ambitious project, I am thrilled to announce that it's 'almost' complete—hah! Today marks a significant milestone, as I get to test this model for full functionality. I'm excited to report that all the hydraulics and electronics are working flawlessly, just as I had hoped.

So, why did this build take so long? Well, there were moments of pure frustration where progress felt impossible, and I found myself needing to take extended breaks just to clear my head and regain my enthusiasm. It wasn't an easy road, but every hurdle taught me something new about patience, perseverance, and the art of creative problem-solving.

Now, about the color scheme—an easy choice for me! I was so tired of seeing the same old, dull colors that are so typical of excavators. I wanted something bold, something that would make this model stand out from all the rest. I’ve built quite a few excavators over the years, like the Kobelco Blue, which was a favorite at one point. But this time, I wanted a design that screamed energy and uniqueness, so I went with a striking combination of neon green, bright safety orange, and black. These colors don’t just look great—they also ensure maximum visibility and safety, a nod to real-world construction standards.
