Physiology of inflammation (part 2): Role of neutrophils and macrophages & sequelae of inflammation

Описание к видео Physiology of inflammation (part 2): Role of neutrophils and macrophages & sequelae of inflammation

Physiology online: This video lecture is a continuation of our previous lecture on physiology of inflammation focusing on the characteristic circulatory and cellular events in inflammation. Here is the link to first part of the lecture;

This video lecture is the second part that briefly describes:
1. the role of neutrophils and macrophages in inflammation,
2. how they invade the injured tissue in a sequential manner and make a multi-layered defense mechanism,
3. The role of chemical mediators like interleukins, Tumor necrosis factor etc. in influencing the invasion of injured tissue in waves by inflammatory cells.
4. The end result and possible sequelae of inflammation.
