Now I am currently brute forcing my way one by one through every entry in the Instant Action game mode file in attempt to break player 1's spawn.

During one of the tests, I decided to spawn as a tank as player 1 and I then remembered that vehicles have forced spawn points as soon as you pick them.

After that I thought to myself "Because player 2 can select a unit but not spawn, maybe I could get player 2 to spawn if I made the vehicles free"

So I went and removed all the kit limitations from the game (that's why there's a bunch of Anakins running around), started it up, and selected a vehicle with player 2. Then player 2 spawned like it was nothing. I checked to see if it would let me spawn normally, now that player 2 was in the game, by exiting the vehicle and re spawning. The result is player 2 can no longer select a unit after dying.

I restarted it to record it for you guys and I thought to try spawning as Anakin.

This is by no means a fix but it is proof that spawning player 2 is possible, I just have to find what file (because there a ton of files with a ton of entries that all impact Instant Action in one way or another) controls it and add things to it for player 2 to spawn normally.

Regardless, progress is progress, and this is a step in the right direction.
