So the V-45 class of DD turns out to be a great success, all at a lower price than the previous build of destroyer. It must bear in mind, however, that as they get bigger, they get easier to spot and hit. Advances in technology have allowed us to design the historic Helgoland class dreadnoughts with improved 12" guns in a hexagonal layout.
