Hi, I’m Logan the 64th Gear Jammer Skeele back with you with another episode of Toy Talk. Today’s episode covers a trailer that I haven't talked about in quite a while and another beautiful Pete 389 working show truck. Go on and get one of these beautiful models with the link down below while limited supplies last.

As you already know Peterbilt was founded on the West Coast in 1939. The Peterbilt 389 model was introduced in 2006. Built by Peterbilt, the model 389 was developed as a model to replace the previous model 379.

The Peterbilt 389 was designed with the latest technology available at the time. It gained its popularity by incorporating a classical design that incorporated and modern creature comforts. I might say the body design set the Pete 389 a cut above the other new entries by Peterbilt’s competitors.

Of course, you know tractors are designed to pull all types of trailers in the transportation of goods. One of these trailers is the lowboy, which is used to carry heavy objects. The Magnitude is a 3-axle lowboy trailer from Fontaine, a well-known manufacturer in the United States.

Fontaine Truck Equipment Company was founded in Birmingham, Ala., by John P.K. Fontaine in 1940 to produce trailers for the federal government. Over the next eight years, Fontaine evolved from a government contractor to a manufacturer of platform trailers, heavy specialty trailers and fifth wheels for commercial use.
Today Fontaine produces some of the finest heavy haul trailers on the market. Now let’s go on over to the quarry and look at the DCP by First Gear 389 Pete and Fontaine 3-Axle Magnitude lowboy trailer…

And this is the Peterbilt 389 heavy haul tractor with Fontaine Magnitude lowboy for Cappello Heavy Transport.
It is DCP by First Gear. It comes in the standard box with the two piece blister and the mural in the back. It's item number is 60-1119. And it's a licensed by Paccar for Peterbilt and Fontaine and Magnitude are licensed from the Fontaine trailer company. It's a die-cast metal model and it's for ages 14 and up.

Peterbilt’s 389 is the last classic conventional on the market and looks amazing while pulling a lowboy trailer.

Cappello Heavy Transport is based in Shrewsbury Massachusetts specializing in heavy equipment moving. Cappello uses a three-axle Pete 389 to haul a magnitude lowboy trailer.
