Dr. Pradeep Pawar is a scientific engineer. He has been living in Germany for the last 47 years. He earned his PhD in metallurgy at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin.

His father was born in Hoshiarpur and his mother is from Lahore. His ancestors moved from Maharashtra to Punjab.
