Faith, Hope and Love - Bonus Scene!

This scene was one of the last and hardest cuts to make in Faith, Hope & Love!

Usually, I can make these type of edits fairly easily, because after you've sat with the movie for many hours, screened it, surveyed it, etc... you get a feel for what needs to be cut.

But, this scene was so tough to cut! For several reasons. First of all Peta and I had worked really hard on it and she is so good in the scene! Second it always made me laugh when I watched it.

So, why did we cut it in the end? The scene within which this scene plays was a long scene to begin with and this added several more minutes to it which is a long time on film.

Also, and perhaps most importantly, someone brought up a really good point to me - they said it seems like too big a turn for Faith (in particular) and Jimmy to suddenly be this at ease with each other and a bit flirtatious.

So, I thought about all of that and, in the end, we had to cut it. But, it was great watching it again. "Oh, Jimmy, you so fine!" Still makes me laugh!
